Since Pedal Force does not have an internal battery and relies entirely on your car's electrical system, it does not have the ability to overload or damage the throttle sensor it is connected to. This adjustment in signal speed will always remain within the safety parameters set by the factory Engine Control Module (ECU). In the event that the device fails due to an incorrect connection, the vehicle will activate its safety system, entering a "protection mode", which will limit acceleration to a minimum level, similar to what would happen if it ran out of fuel. For this reason, Pedal Force does not pose any risk to your vehicle or its mechanical components. To avoid connection issues, we recommend reading the instruction manual and following the proper steps for installation. It is critical to ensure that the connectors are properly secured, as if they are not fully locked, they can loosen over time due to vibration, shock, or movement of the harness. When connecting the plugs, you should hear a "click" sound, which will indicate that they have been firmly secured. We also suggest switching between Pedal Force modes (Lock, Eco, Work, or Sport) when your foot is not pressing the accelerator or when cruise control is disabled. Doing this will prevent warning lights such as the CEL or EPC from turning on, which could trigger the vehicle's security mode.
